Mobile Visual Search
We are organizing a small invitation-only workshop on Mobile Visual Search, followed by the formal meeting of the INCITS L3.1 Ad Hoc Group on Visual Search. The goal of the meeting is an exchange among companies and university labs driving the technology and the commercial deployment of mobile visual search and a recommendation to INCITS L3.1. The workshop will feature invited talks reviewing the underlying technology, addressing issues a standards body should consider, and/or reporting first experiences with prototypes and commercial deployments. Workshop participants who are not INCITS 3.1 members will be able to join the formal part of the meeting as guests.
This event will be held on December 3, 2009 at the Frances C. Arrillaga Alumni Center at Stanford University.
Members of the Stanford Computer Forum and the Stanford Center for Image Systems Engineering will be able to register beginning October 26. Registration is limited and will be closed by November 20, 2009.
