Abstract:As machines evolve from tools to autonomous agents, their ability to perceive and interpret the physical world becomes the foundation of intelligence. This talk explores how advances in 3D perception, vision sensing, and AI-driven spatial understanding are transforming machines into perceptive, adaptive systems — the “visual cortex” of embodied AI.

Bio:  Nadav Orbach is the Founder and CEO of RealSense, where he is driving the future of machine vision for robotics and autonomous systems. With nearly two decades of experience in imaging, computer vision, and AI-powered sensing, Nadav is pioneering technologies that give machines the ability to perceive and understand the world with human-like depth and awareness. Under his leadership, RealSense is redefining 3D perception as a foundational layer for embodied AI — enabling robots to see, move, and collaborate safely and intelligently in dynamic environments.
Before founding RealSense, Nadav spent 19 years at Intel Corporation, where he helped shape the company’s vision technology strategy and was the VP and GM for ​Intel’s Vision Technology Group Overseeing All Intel’s Computer Vision and Camera technologies across different segments.
